My performative work lies at the intersection of contemporary dance, sound, story and image. Often working as a solo performer, or collaboratively with independent interdisciplinary artists, I generate atmospheres that are rich, layered and visceral. Through the exploration of non-linear storytelling, softening the separation between performer/observer, and often working within landscape, site-specific or gallery and non-traditional settings, I re-imagine threads of personal/collective memory and human experience within a contemporary context, placing the viewer inside of a world where dreams and visions come awake in scores of many-layered potential meaning.
